The fire extinguishing ampoule: a stand-alone automatic fire extinguisher

1. The BONTEL ampoule resolves the problem of fire safety in the most diverse locations.

Let’s say you have something hazardous, or, as the fire services say, "a potential source of ignition", at home or at work – a fireplace in your cottage, perhaps, or a storage facility for flammable mixtures at a factory. In this case, all you need to do is to affix the ampoule to the ceiling or a wall, above the source of risk. The fire services also recommend installing fire extinguishing equipment near exits and on evacuation routes.

If there is no specific source of danger and you want to protect a whole room, we recommend using several ampoules, bearing in mind that one ampoule will protect up to 8 m³ of space. The larger the area/volume, the more ampoules you will need. For particularly large premises, we recommend using suspended modules or a fire suppression system.

2. BONTEL ampoules work in 100% of cases.

3. BONTEL ampoules do not damage property.

BONTEL ampoules put out fires at the start, before they can damage your home, office or factory. As it is released from the ampoule, the some of the liquid turns into a gas (which deals with a fire quicker than other agents), and some of it turns into a film that covers the seat of the fire and any smouldering areas.

Simply putting the fire out is not enough, however. Sometimes, the aftermath can be just as bad: furniture and equipment that have encountered water, powder or carbon dioxide can be thrown out. With the BONTEL ampoule, by contrast, the damage is almost non-existent: the protective film it produces degrades rapidly, preventing smoke from settling on objects.

4. BONTEL ampoules are safe to service.

After installing your ampoule, you can forget about it for at least 10 years – it will retain all its properties, and will not require special maintenance. Their 10-12-year warranty period is confirmation of this.

The ampoule comprises an air-tight flask made of safety glass, containing 600 mL of the BONTEL fire-extinguishing liquid, which is harmless to people. Only high-quality materials are used to make the ampoules.

Thanks to their small size (a diameter of 60 mm, and a length of 28 cm), they can also be installed above suspended ceilings or under raised floors so as to provide protection against hidden wiring fires.

The ampoule is easy to install, so you will not need to call out any installation experts. Indeed, you do not actually have to hang the ampoule anywhere at all: when the time comes, you can simply hurl it like a grenade, and the fire will have no chance.
