Operating principle
- 1Without nozzles: When the polyamide tube is locally heated to a temperature of 110–120°C, the tube wall opens at the heated point, forming an orifice through which a portion of the extinguishing agent is released toward the fire source and into the protected area.
- 2With nozzles: The pressure in the pipe falls, causing the shut-off valve the main volume of the extinguishing agent is discharged into the protected area through the nozzles.
