Opening of the exhibition “Christmas Tree, Light up!”

December 21, 2023 at the art platform Cube.Moscow hosted the grand opening of the collective exhibition «Christmas tree, light up! ».

Three new art projects, including – «Christmas tree, light up! » – a colorful collaboration between BONTEL and contemporary Russian artists, opened at once in the large exhibition hall. Karina Barabanova, Lyudmila Baronina, Katya Belyavskaya, Kirill Lebedev («Who»), Gosha Ostretsov, Mikhail Rubankov and Valery Chtak created authors designs for BONTELs super-efficient fire extinguishers, turning them into real art objects.

The other installations eloquently and ironically play with the context of New Year fires – Sasha Frolovas inflatable sculpture plays the role of a Christmas tree, Vasily Slonovs fire extinguishers bend into the most unexpected words and shapes, and Artyom Filatovs fire cabinet and evacuation plan puzzle rather than help to find a way out, especially since it is not at all necessary to put out the plush fire by Rostan Tavasiev, despite the fact that the panel by Alina Glazun states: «Burning».

This exhibition is available to the public from December 23, 2023 to January 18, 2024.
