BONTEL fire extinguishers will be presented at the art platform Cube.Moscow

On December 21, 2023, the art platform Cube.Moscow will host the grand opening of the collective exhibition «Christmas tree, light up!».

The concept of the exhibition is built around the sad New Year statistics – in recent years the number of fires during the holidays has almost doubled. The presented art objects will eloquently and ironically play with this context – the role of a Christmas tree will be played by an inflatable sculpture by Sasha Frolova, fire extinguishers by Vasily Slonov will bend into the most unexpected words and shapes, and a fire cabinet and evacuation plan by Artyom Filatov will rather puzzle than help to find a way out, especially since it is not at all necessary to put out a plush fire by Rostan Tavasiev, despite the fact that the panel by Alina Glazun states: «Burning».

Nevertheless, thoughtful viewers will definitely consider the message of the organizer of the exhibition – group of companies «BONTEL» – about the need to protect life and property from the unwanted effects of fire, especially during the long New Years weekend. It is for this purpose that contemporary Russian artists Karina Barabanova, Lyudmila Baronina, Katya Belyavskaya, Kirill Lebedev («Who»), Gosha Ostretsov, Mikhail Rubankov and Valery Chtak created authors designs for BONTELs super-efficient fire extinguishers, turning them into real art objects.
